Like everyone else, Rory Vaughn knows that living a happy, healthy life requires following Lux's recommendations. When he is accepted to Theden Academy, where elite students study, he thinks that his happiness is guaranteed, but there is something wrong under the bright appearance of the school of dreams.

One day, Rory meets the handsome North, who does not use Lux, and is impressed by the young man's different life, and soon begins not to follow Lux's advice, but instead listens to the inner voice that he was taught not to listen to.
