This book, which is an inventory of the thought production of political figures and organizations that left their mark on the history of the Turkish Kurdish socialist left movement over a period of nearly half a century, not only displays the development line of the tradition that leads the Kurdish movement today, but also other actors and movements, some of which have been forgotten. It also offers the opportunity to recognize and understand. Among the main aims of the book are to introduce the basic theses and arguments that underpin the existence of socialist left movements in the geography of Kurdistan, especially to the new generation of readers, and to convey to them the historical profile of the Kurdish movement from as wide a range as possible. In addition to allowing us to look at the problem from the perspective of Kurdistan socialists, it also opens the door to discussing the possibilities contained in socialist theory in solving the problem. This theoretical legacy needs to be evaluated critically in order to understand the new trends, common symbols and nation imagination of the Kurdish movement, which grew out of its own historical roots, in terms of its autonomy processes.
