Dönüşüm
"When Gregor Samsa woke up one morning from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed into a giant insect."
The Metamorphosis is one of the most debated masterpieces of contemporary world literature. Kafka tells the story of a young man living with his family who wakes up in the morning to find himself transformed into an insect. This story is also a rebellion against the monotony of daily life. Kafka is a writer who sincerely conveys the confinement of 20th century people and their depression within social turmoil.
We present The Transformation with an original translation by İclal Cankorel and an introduction by Ahmet Arpad, an expert in German literature.
