The book "Tarih-i Kurd" (Kurdish History), written by Muhammed Şerif Kadı in 1813, is in Turkish. The book translated and evaluated by Cafer Açar also includes "A Study on the Erdelan School of History".

Established in the north-west of Iran, Erdelan Mirlik had a political existence for many years under the Safavid, Afshar, Zend and Qajar dynasties that dominated Iran and left an important mark on Kurdish history with its political, social and cultural experience. Erdelan Mirlik, which is located between the Ottoman Empire and the central states of Iran and in the orbit of struggle of these powers, also formed one of the focal points of the political conflicts of the mentioned states.

Erdelan Mirlik, which was founded based in Senendec and has a political existence under the central states of Iran, has had a very important impact on the preservation of historical, social and cultural heritage, especially for the Kurds living in Iran. The cultural heritage created by Erdelan Mirligi has shown itself especially in the field of historiography. The tradition of writing Kurdish history, which started with Şerefhan Bitlisi's work named Şerefname, was continued by Muhammed Şerif Kadı, the author of the manuscript named Tarih-i Kurd, and this effort was carried out in Iran by Erdelan History. It resulted in the formation of the school known as the School of Education. The translation and evaluation of the manuscript titled Tarih-i Kurd, written by Senendec judge Muhammed Şerif Kadı and dealing with the history of the Erdelan Mirlik, will contribute to the elucidation of the history of the Erdelan Kurdish Mirlik, which was established in Iran and managed to survive for many years, as well as the Ottoman and Ottoman Empire. It will also shed light on studies on Iranian history.
