We have selected the hadiths in this first book that we prepared to be taught in the Hadith Texts course in the Faculties of Theology, from Bukhari's Sahih. We aimed for two things when making this selection. First, to have information about the system and content of the Sahih by choosing one or more hadiths from different chapters of almost every chapter of Bukhari as much as possible; The second is about religious, moral and social issues. To have knowledge of what the Prophet said. For this purpose, we included many verses in Bukhari's chapter headings. At this point, we aimed to discover Bukhari's method on how he created chapter headings, to benefit from the messages of the verses, and to see the integrity of the Quran-Sunnah and Bukhari's success in reflecting this.

In addition to translating the hadiths, we also tried to interpret them as much as possible. However, we did not try to interpret every hadith. Since our book was prepared especially in a lecture format, we tried to act within the framework of our responsibility to take into account the interests of the student.
