Politics Games
By overcoming the election thresholds of the coup plotters, we were elected as independent candidates and came to the parliament, and we formed a group by joining the DTP. As soon as we came to the parliament, we understood from the very beginning that our job was not easy. More than a thousand summaries of proceedings have been prepared about us. Political parties, an indispensable element of democracy, continued to be closed and their leaders were punished. Most recently, our party DTP was closed, co-chairs were stripped of their seats in parliament, mayors were dismissed and arrested, and elected MPs were kept in prison for years.
Between 2007 and 2015, when I was in parliament, the political games played were brutal. What were the repressive laws, omnibus laws, parliamentary discussions, harsh debates, fights, strained nerves, spring situations?
