Psychology of Love

In the first article of the Psychology of Love, which consists of four articles, Freud states that although the child does not fully understand what sexuality is, he begins to feel the influence of some emotions, especially emotions of erotic origin, and that the boy's extreme love and devotion towards his mother can lead to a sexual tendency over time, especially when he notices his genitals.
