Religions and Mythology
The book Religions and Mythology is the first product of author Çetin Orhan's extensive work. Although the author works on all monotheistic religions and mythology, in this book he focuses on Christianity and Judaism, points out the contradictions of religious texts, examines the relationships between religious texts and mythological findings, and points out interesting points about the relationship between religion and mythology. While describing his own work, the author summarizes his starting points as follows:
"As a result of our investigations, we should also point out that all monotheistic religions originate from the same source, and the tenets of faith we have emphasized have been damaged and changed surprisingly over time. The process of understanding the incomprehensible or unknowable parts of the sacred text writing of the clergy, perhaps with forced interpretations that emerged as a result of their efforts to save these sacred texts." has become increasingly incomprehensible and complicated.
"The main issue that needs to be emphasized is that in critical approaches, it is revealed to what extent the imperceptible leaks of ancient mythological motifs that do not comply with Tawhid have corrupted the religion. It is an inevitable fact that the most effective element in human life in ancient times was mythology. Superstitions, ignorance, fear, delusion and "It should also be noted that desperation shapes mythology."
