Perverted Book Description Peter Drucker follows Türkiye's LGBTI+ movement closely. While Drucker presents a history of queer in this book, he also offers a utopia that proposes the blending of radical queer with the radical left, that is, anti-capitalism. While he discusses the forms of queer history before the concept of "homosexual" was invented, based on concepts such as epheboli and intergenerational sexuality pattern, he calls these the effeminate-dominant formation. While he characterizes the period based on liberalism and colonialism regimes and coinciding with the invention of the concept of "homosexual" as a counter-sovereign formation, he historicizes the subsequent phases of the movement based on the Fordist economy and neoliberalism, respectively, through the following formations: gay-dominant formation and homonormative-dominant formation. The author draws attention to the fact that these economic structures increasingly ghettoize the gay/lesbian community. While pointing out the dangers of the homonormative pattern flirting with homo-nationalism, that is, essentially racism, and gay/lesbian couples increasingly emulating the heterosexual nuclear family model, it replaces this type of nuclear familialization process with the ideal of Polyamory/queer companionship. In this comprehensive study, Drucker shows that queer sexuality cannot be considered outside parameters such as center/periphery, class and racism, and that these are intricately intertwined with each other.
