Writings - Fairytales, Prophecies, Jokes and Others
Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) Writings - Tales, Prophecies, Witnesses and Others brings together all the texts of Da Vinci, one of the great geniuses of world history and the versatile Renaissance man, except his direct scientific researches or writings on visual arts. The Writings, first published in 1952, met with the reader in a new expanded edition when two manuscripts of approximately seven hundred pages, written by Da Vinci himself, were found in the National Library of Madrid in 1967. In the Madrid manuscripts, Da Vinci leaves aside his interest in painting and mechanics and writes down his thoughts in different fields.
