The Arabian Nights, which have been told for hundreds of years in an area extending from China to North Africa and covering China, Indochina, India, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria and Egypt, were first edited and translated into French by Antoine Galland (1704- 17, 12 volumes) was introduced to the world. These tales, which have been translated into all major languages to date, deeply influenced many artists in all fields, from literature to music, from cinema to ballet, starting long before Galland, and have been processed, reinterpreted and imitated many times.

The Arabian Nights not only ignited people's imagination; With the "frame story" technique, of which it is the oldest known example, it maintained its place at the top of the books that most influenced world literature, both in the past and today.
