Although his name is not as well-known as Edison or Marconi, Nikola Tesla is considered one of the greatest inventors of all time, even the first. Thanks to this genius, who was of Serbian origin, born in Croatia and a US citizen, we live in brightly lit cities today. But of course, what humanity owes to Tesla is not limited to this. Tesla, a scientist who lived far ahead of his time, is the inventor or father of many things that are in our daily lives today, from radio to television, from robots to wireless communication, from computers to missiles, which he was able to prove only with the decision of the US Supreme Court, that the patent belonged to him, not Marconi. Tesla, who had no home of his own, lived in hotels, never married, and whose best friends were the famous writer Mark Twain and pigeons, made countless inventions in the first half of the twentieth century. However, when he did not care much about turning them into commercial products and a source of income for himself, his incredible inventions were stolen by greedy merchant inventors such as Edison or Marconi. Unfortunately, today their name is better known than Tesla. When Tesla, whose dreams seem difficult to achieve even today, died in 1943, in the middle of World War II, the FBI, which closely monitored his work, confiscated all his research notes and unpublished articles. Investigations are still ongoing on these documents, which are said to have been used in the development of nuclear technology and space studies in the following years. This great inventor, who immigrated to the USA at a young age, has already taken the place he deserves in the history of science, but he should also take the place he deserves in the minds and hearts of ordinary people. This book was written to help prevent further delays in this matter.
