Türkçe-Farsça Sözlük
In this dictionary, which is intended to address both classical and modern Persian, some texts belonging to classical and modern Iranian literature, both in verse and prose, have been scanned, and dictionary articles and intermediate articles have been determined in this way. In order to better understand the concepts, both the pronunciation and translation of Persian sentence examples in Turkish letters and the Persian text are given.
Words, phrases and word groups common to Persian, which are mostly found in classical period Turkish literature, are also given in alphabetical order, as main or intermediate clauses, together with Turkish example sentences, if any. In some articles, there are examples from both Persian and Turkish literature. Thus, it is aimed for the dictionary user to have an idea about how a word is used and perceived in two languages and two literatures.
Additionally, a list containing the citations of the sources used and scanned, a section explaining Persian grammar, the characteristics of classical Persian, and a list showing the present tense roots of some commonly used simple and prefixed verbs in Persian have been added to the dictionary.
