In this work, which he first wrote in series for the magazine called The Outing Magazine in 1906, Jack London tells the story of a wolf dog named White Fang, born in the Wild Nature, who does not like movement and aims to destroy even the slightest movement in life.
White Fang is strong because he was the only one among his family who managed to survive in the frozen Northern lands and quickly learned the law of flesh of the Wilderness ("eat or you will be eaten"). He will soon mingle with the human-gods and learn that it would be better for him to obey their laws, even if he does not have the slightest bit of love for his new gods. Because White Fang is surrounded by cruel and cold-hearted gods, there is anger in his essence.
