Zweig's Journeys is a book that the author carried out between 1902 and 1940, initially voluntarily, then later on. He presents a rich and touching portrait of pre-World War II Europe, to which he was passionately attached, with impressions of forced journeys that would end in exile from an increasingly darkening continent.

A great chapter of his life. Zweig, who spent his part traveling between European countries, went to London, Oxford, Vienna, Paris, Avignon, Antwerp, Florence, Sevilla, Zurich, Salzburg with his unsatisfiable sense of curiosity, in his travels that he saw as both cultural education and treatment for the depression resulting from living dependent on one place for a long time. In addition to cities such as America (New York, Boston, Detroit), Russia (Moscow) and India (Gwalior), he also travels.
