Although it is about the sanjak of Maraş, which was a provincial center at the beginning of the century, it also includes information about other sanjaks and districts of the province. As stated in the inner parts of our study, Maraş Province in the said period; Maraş consisted of Malatya, Kars-ı Zülkadiriye (Kadirli), Samsat and Gerger sanjaks. Antep, Hısn-ı Mansur (Adıyaman), Elbistan, Pazarcık and Zamantı (Pınarbaşı) districts were connected to the Maraş sanjak, which was the provincial center. At one time, Rumkale (Halfeti) district was also connected to Maraş. (From the Promotional Bulletin)
