Alevis, Bektashis, Nusayris in Turkey
The controversial international scientific meeting on "Alevis, Bektashis and Nusayris in Turkey in Their Historical and Actual Dimensions (History - Belief - Rituals - Social Structure - Institutions)" was held by the Islamic Sciences Research Foundation between 21-23 November 1997. Thirteen papers were presented, each paper was evaluated by two negotiators and questions were answered by the presenters, and all the meeting texts were brought together and published in this work. When the work is examined from beginning to end, satisfactory information can be obtained about Alevism, Bektashism and Nusayrism.
