This short study aims to analyze the debt problem, which is one of the consequences of the functioning of the capitalist system. As long as underdeveloped countries do not abandon the growth approach based on adaptation to comparative advantages and free trade and continue to imitate the consumption model of "developments", the debt problem seems to remain on the agenda. As a matter of fact, as some theorists suggest, the "debt crisis" that emerged in the early 1980s was not merely a result of the world economic crisis. It is the natural result of the dependent and exclusionary growth model. However, the world economic crisis has the result of exacerbating already existing trends.
