He prepared this book to contribute to the interest in anthropology, which we witness with joy as it becomes increasingly widespread in the country. And it is a holistic study that covers all theoretical tendencies, including their backgrounds, up to current debates.
In recent years, many books on anthropology have been published in Turkey. However, unfortunately, there was no comprehensive study on the history of the theories until now. Therefore, the present study has the pride of being a first in its field of interest.
If the book can provide a general 'mind map' of the literature published in this field to everyone who is interested in the subject, as well as to the increasing number of anthropology students, we will be happy to achieve our goal.
