330 BC: On the night of the Silent Supper, Athens attempts to appease the souls of its dead. Stephanos and his teacher Aristotle are challenged to solve a surprising kidnapping case. Anthia, the heiress of a prominent silver merchant, has been kidnapped from her home. All that is known is that those involved were heading towards the road to Delphi, the land of the traditional Oracle.

Stephanos and Aristotle chase after them, but along the way they encounter many things that confuse them: rumors about strange strangers, disguises, murders. It soon becomes clear that there is a psychopath on the road. But in order for the mystery to be solved, they must reach Delphi. Will the Oracle be able to identify the murderer?

"Peaceful … violent … nostalgic for lovers of Ancient Greece … delight for classicists."
