Armenian Hunting Stories
"All around us was covered with layers of snow. We couldn't even see the bottom of the cliff below because of the snow. We were climbing up high by breaking the snow with the butts of our rifles. This walk was quite torturous and it was very difficult to walk together, That's why we decided to continue the journey separately.
When I reached the top of the mountain, I almost lost my mind with the view I saw. The sparkling reflections of the snow under the sun made the mountains look like they were covered with diamonds, and the Lori valley lay in front of me. One of the highest peaks of the Greater Caucasus was rising. Uncle Vanu said that this mountain was Kazbek Mountain. When I looked back, I could see the forests, the cliffs we passed, and even the snowy peaks of Mount Ararat in the south, as if from the sky to the ground. There was Lake Sevan like a fallen piece.
While watching the entire Caucasus from the summit, I was absolutely sure that there was no other such magnificent view in the world."
