Poet, storyteller and playwright Sabahattin Kudret Aksal continued to think and write about poetry, theater and literature, from his first published poem and story and his first play until his death. His essays were as simple and clear as his poems, plays and stories. In his writings, he has always been a writer who blends the mind, logic and conscious quests of his philosophical side with the emotionality of his artistic side.

These words on the back cover of Essays, Conversations, the first book in which we collected Aksal's writings and interviews, are also valid for Essays, Responses. This book, also compiled and prepared by Arif Yılmaz, consists of essays, criticisms, essays, criticisms, from Aksal's first two articles published together in 1939 ("Bitaraf Münekkit" and "Iki Mizah") to his answers to Füsun Akatlı's questions on Muhsin Ertuğrul in 1992. It consists of different types of writings such as conversations, interviews, surveys and memoirs.
