But unfortunately, scientific studies on Bektashism, which is perhaps the sect that is most closely intertwined with the public, can only be done in the 20th century. It started in the early years of the century. Although the religious movements in Seljuk Anatolia were enlightened to some extent, information about the early period of Bektashism is very insufficient. The book in your hand covers the geographical distribution of Bektashi lodges in Anatolia, following their initial period, as well as the functioning of these lodges as small economic units and their social relations with their surroundings.
