Everyone knows you, but you don't know anyone.

Everyone wants to be your friend, but you can't trust anyone.

To no one...

In Stockholm, where the winter cold has set in, the police come face to face with a terrible murder. The head of an unidentified woman is found in the luxurious home of Jesper Orre, the CEO of a famous clothing store chain. Orre, the suspect of the incident that bears traces of a murder committed ten years ago, has gone missing. The police are not the only ones looking for the missing businessman. Emma Bohman, who works in one of the chain's stores, met Orre two months ago and they began a relationship. But just as quickly as their relationship began, it ended just as quickly with Orre's disappearance. The paths of the police and Emma, who are looking for the same man for different reasons, will intersect on a path full of obsession, revenge and madness; As events begin to unravel, it will become clear that nothing is as it seems.

“Impressive... Camilla Grebe achieves the challenge with this first novel and takes her place at the top among the successful writers of Scandinavian detective fiction.”

-Kirkus Reviews-

“Those who love Scandinavian detective fiction or crime novels in general will enjoy this tense story created by Grebe. "Perfect for those who want to read a psychological thriller like The Girl on the Train."

-Booklist-

“It definitely deserves its reputation. He tells the story through the eyes of each character, at an ever-accelerating pace. It reflects the gloom of Scandinavian Noir to its core.”

-Daily Mail-

“A story that draws the reader in. “These three untrustworthy characters show readers that the truth walks a very thin line.”

-Sunday Mirror-

“A complex, terrifying and incredibly fascinating thriller. Grebe's first novel, written on his own, is a great success.”

-Crime Scene-
