One of Turkey's most discussed but least known projects is Blue Stream. First of all, our ignorance stems from the fact that the administration in Turkey is not fully transparent, and therefore the society cannot receive good and accurate news. But it also stems from not being able to look at the issue as a holistic picture, and from discussing the issue in incorrect and shallow terms.
However, this project has meanings beyond being a pipeline carrying natural gas to homes and factories. It concerns the future of not only Turkey, but also many countries and regions, and is at the center of an international strategy war, at the center of a struggle to reshape a region.
