It is one of the literary products that can be considered old. Artifacts from the Assyrian, Sumerian and Egyptian civilizations reveal this fact. When it comes to dream interpretation today, the first name that comes to mind is undoubtedly Ibn Sirin. The most important reason for this is that the first dream interpretation written after Islam bears his name. The work he wrote called Kitâbü't-Tabirü'l-Rüyâ was the source of almost all the phrasebooks written after him. The Book of Dreams is one of the translations of the Tabirnâme written by İbni Sîrîn into Turkish. Savaşkan Cem Bahadır not only brought this work to our language in its original form, but also wrote the subject in a comprehensive manner with explanatory information on the subject of "dream". In the introduction of the work, the dreams of our Prophet mentioned in the Holy Quran and hadiths are discussed, as well as the dreams of other prophets and historical figures. The translated version of İbni Sîrîn's Tabirnâmesi into modern Turkish is included in the book as a separate chapter. The facsimile of the work is given on facing pages with the text transcribed into Latin letters.
