In this book, we will examine the struggle of a people called Eastern Christians, stuck between the lofty mountains at the farthest point of our geography, surrounded by Muslim peoples on all sides, and battered by the Christian world due to their contradictions, during the years of the Great War. We will try to find the historical adventure of the painful truth that happened in Iraq today, in front of the eyes of the whole world, in its main sources. This people, who lost more than half of their population in the massacres before and after the First World War, are now, together with the Yazidi Kurds, faced once again, and perhaps for the last time, with the massacre of fanatics deprived of human and moral values, called the "Islamic State of Iraq and Damascus". Hz. The people who gave their language and land to Jesus and were among the first to believe in Him, once again went into exile as the last representatives of Eastern Christians. They did not come to this situation suddenly. The role of the Ottomans, the Persians and the Kurds, as well as the Russians, French and British, who gave them confidence and then abandoned them, also played a role in this. It would not be wrong to say that these states have the biggest share in determining the outcome.
