Much has been said and written about the new imperialism throughout the 2000s; The reason why the issue is discussed so intensely is the USA. It reveals how today's capitalist empire, a global form of economy governed by multiple local states, has given rise to a new, militaristic doctrine of war without end, purpose or time.
