This book is about a period that has not been researched in detail before, of Adnan Menderes, who made a name for himself with his actions especially during the 1950-1960 Democratic Party Government Period: "Single Party Period". Adnan Menderes, who had many criticisms of , actually served as a member of parliament in this party for fourteen years and held important positions within the party. Therefore, his place within the CHP during the Single Party Period and his views on revolutions and revolutionary institutions gain importance in this respect. You will find answers to many important issues in this book, such as Menderes's perspective on Community Centers during this period, his attitude and thoughts towards reactionary movements, and his relations with İnönü.

In this study, which was prepared mainly with information obtained from first-hand sources, many documents from the Presidential Archive and the Prime Ministry Republic Archive are published for the first time. Data obtained from various correspondence, inspectorate reports and local newspapers of the period will allow us to understand Adnan Menderes's mindset during the Single Party Period, and comparisons with the Democratic Party Period will help us see the change.
