Dönüşüm - Franz Kafka
Transformation, which was first published in the monthly magazine "Die Weissen Blaetter" in 1915, was written by Kafka. It is the longest and most well-known story of the 19th century, and although almost a century has passed since its publication, it is still among the most read books in the world.
In the letter he sent to Felice Bauer on October 17, 1912, Kafka writes that he was working on the novel America, but when he saw that he could not progress, he got bored and could not get out of bed, so he wanted to take a break by writing a story. This is how transformation occurs.
The Metamorphosis, which begins with fabric salesman Gregor Samsa waking up from his sleep transformed into a huge insect, gradually turns into a magnificent narrative that pushes the boundaries of reality and fiction.
