Dede Korkut Stories - Cloth-bound Book Description Dede Korkut Stories, which are considered one of the most important building blocks of Turkish literature and have a layered structure, sometimes contain mystical elements, but basically tell about the struggles of the Oghuzs both among themselves and with their enemies. Through these stories, which were passed down from word to mouth among the people and written down in the 16th century, important information is also obtained about the political structures, cultural and social aspects, world perspective, history, geography, language and culture of the Oghuz Turks. Dede Korkut Stories have been examined and interpreted many times by different researchers due to both their historical and literary importance. The work was prepared for publication by Salih Mehmet Arçın, a faculty member from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Pamukkale University.
