Thus, an oral literature covering the smallest details of the daily lives of the Kurds began, and these narratives reached large audiences thanks to the melodies and led to the formation of a tradition that has continued for centuries. They were religious priests or officials who sang the hymns of the religion they believed in at the time (Mithraism, Magic, Zoroastrianism) and traveled from place to place and made the society believe in them. Dengbêjs were also priests who directed these hymns during religious rituals and, in a way, guided and influenced the spiritual and psychological world of the society.
