With his novel Limitless Hours, Mehmet Yasin puts an important brick in the rising wall of the Contemporary Turkish Novel. If this brick were removed, there is no similar novel that could be replaced. Making use of different language and literary sources, Yasin not only creates a novel that stands out with its freedom, but also questions the established understanding of the modernization of Turkish literature through Karamanlıca.
