The social dynamic behind the Kurdish movement was neither marauders, as the official ideology stated, nor the entire Kurdish society, as the Kurdish movement claimed. These were social groups that began to take shape within the Kurdish society as a result of modernization or whose positions against the existing forces in the field, although existing for a long time, changed. While some of these groups expressed their struggle to create their own conditions of existence through the discourse of Kurdishness, others preferred other discourses such as socialism or "Left of the Middle".
