Dicle’nin Ağıdı

He took off again without knowing how long the journey would take. There were long distances of uncertain time and dozens of dangers to overcome. But he was determined. If necessary, he would fly without rest, and would not stop until he reached his destination. No difficulty would stop him from this journey. He would not give up or step back until he got results.

He went out of Mesopotamia. He came across images that were no different from the previous ones. Tall buildings, cities and endless crowds of people. The earth looked like a weathered painting. Pale and vague! Nothing was readable except the piles of concrete radiating greyness.

He left the faded images of the cities behind. He had reached the sea, which was laid out on the ground like a blue rug. He didn't have long to go to his destination. It had already filled his little heart with great excitement. His body was tired! So tired! Still, he didn't even think about taking a breather. He was advancing patiently, as if shouldering the determination of the warrior advancing towards his goal. (From Back Cover)
