Distraught Beauties
The ghazals in this book had the title of perî-san (beautiful like a fairy, high as a fairy) in terms of presenting us some beauties from centuries beyond, giving us the refined elegance of our ancestors' understanding of beauty in women, and describing the lovers whom the poets compared to fairy girls. That's why we called them Peri-san Beauties. It's like the angel-like, fairy-shaped beauty we know from Divan poetry smiling at us between two lines.
Fairy-san Beauties have been compiled to relive an old tale in the footsteps of fairy girls who appear and disappear, and now, they will slowly tell you everything that happened in a place where a civilization was lost. Because while reading this book, you will see that a different memory emerges from each line.
