Dyslexia-Specific Learning Disability

In this book, it is aimed to provide parents, teachers, psychological counselors, psychologists and other people related to education with accurate and scientifically based information about Specific Learning Disabilities.

Dyslexia, which literally means "Reading Difficulty", is used by many of us instead of Specific Learning Disability. However, dyslexia is a subgroup of specific learning disabilities.

Specific Learning Disability occurs with considerable frequency in society. It is seen in 5%-15% of school-age children. That's approximately 1 in every 10 children. Its incidence does not differ between countries and is approximately the same throughout the world.
