- What is told in Kartal Yuvası is the interesting story of Mardin. In this story (in the 600s, when the Turks were not yet there), the relations, contradictions, similarities and attempts to seize power of various races and religions are told. In fact, no writer has ever dared to tell the story of Mardin. Because explaining or finding out what happened despite religions and races is not only difficult but also considered out of dialogue. Believing in the sanctity of religions, the author tried to tell the main story line with positive thoughts - in the way it should be. Of course, the author also has a fiction in the historical novel, and this fiction is the possible expression of the stance, majesty and bow of the Mardin Castle, which is located on top of a high mountain with its strong walls, that no one can afford to take. Apart from the mythological influences of religions, a plot in which war, peace, agreement, interest, harm, fear and remedy are blended with reason could (could) be in such a story. Because, apart from what is accepted as the existence of all kinds of holiness, heroism, epics and mythology, there is a logical expression of possibility - which is actually what is intended to happen! The story of Mardin was constructed by the author in such a positive thinking field. Bülent Tekin, the author of the book, has caught that in addition to the sources (books) he used, the stories told anonymously - the stories have many similarities with those of the 600s, except for clothing - are like breaches opened in history. In the 600s, the Eastern Roman Empire subjected its provinces to excessive taxes; It disturbed religious groups such as Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians. Such conditions broke the Empire's resistance to the invasion of the Islamic Arab armies. The story of the book; The aim is to describe what happened in (Upper) Mesopotamia, where Arab, Assyrian, Kurdish, Armenian, Byzantine (Greek) and Persian peoples dominated, lived, resisted or invaded. In describing the events in the novel, races and religions are kept at an equal distance, and reason and logic are not avoided.
