Emile - Or On Education - Hasan Ali Yücel Classics
Rousseau not only addressed child education in Emile, in which he described the duties of parents towards children, but also made a striking criticism of the social, political and religious institutions of the period in which he lived.
He is the most important romantic thinker of the Enlightenment period. His booklet, Discourse on the Sciences and Arts, which he wrote in 1750, was rewarded by the Dijon Academy.
He attracted attention again with The Source of Inequality Among Men, which he wrote five years later.
The Social Contract has been considered one of the fundamental works on social life since the day it was published. In Emile, in which he describes the duties of parents towards children, Rousseau not only discussed child education, but also made a striking criticism of the social, political and religious institutions of the period in which he lived.
