epistemology
Epistemology, in short, means the study of science, or even sciences. It is a new concept, considering that it was mostly used in the scientific and philosophical literature of the early twentieth century. It defines a ground that nourishes the common consciousness within the wide spectrum of scientific understanding and establishes its cultural and ethical framework, and reveals its foundations. It is an investigation that strives to offer answers to all questions and problems arising from epistemological understanding on an axis extending from logic to physical sciences and from there to the examination of human beings and society.
