Ernest Mandel'in Marksizmi
Ernest Mandel belonged to a breed that became increasingly endangered in this second half of the twentieth century: theorists of militant Marxism. She was one of the few men and women in the history of the socialist movement who could combine tireless activity as a revolutionary leader with a body of intellectual work that met the criteria of scholarly scholarship to the point of commanding respect from academic circles. Marxist theoretical activity is simultaneously a scientific endeavor and an integral part of revolutionary activity—Marxist theory a guide to action, as Friedrich Engels put it, and Marxist "theoretical production" not merely a speculative aerobatics but an essential, integral part of the class struggle. He was one of those who conceived it as meaning.
