The novel tells the story of two siblings whose mother died. The two brothers, whose father is a city rich man, are raised by their father and his servants, and also receive a good religious education. When they reached their teenage years, their father married and their stepmother fell in love with her older stepson. When they refuse, they are slandered by their stepmother. Their father orders the death of both of them. He assigns his two most loyal servants to kill the two of them. The servants cannot bear to kill and report the situation to the children's religious teacher. The three of them come together, make it look like death and save the children. They save them, but the life the children will live from now on will be worse than death. Nothing happens to these two young people who left their hometown and were thrown into the world. Destiny separates them on the road. Even though they encounter very painful events, these two young people eventually become sultans. Each of them becomes the sultan of a country. They live a very happy life. But fate still draws them to their own country. Evdê Min Bimeşe is a novel where pain and happiness are intertwined and which leaves people under its influence for days.
