Everything Is Under Control Book Description Everything Is Under Control is the story of the "sick" people of a country that turned into a colony after the lost war. In the empire of fear, where procreation and production have become a necessity, individuals who are crushed under the pressure of working and starting a family are kept under control with therapy sessions and medication. The right to life granted to those who rebel against the system is limited to quarantine areas. Rüya, a mother of two, is sentenced to live in the quarantine zone because she cannot keep up with the current order. Deniz, who had to grow up without a mother, struggles with the concerns that she will not be able to find a place in the system and that she will end up like her mother. The only salvation for individuals rendered idle by paranoia fueled by the government; sacrificing their freedom for the sake of feeling safe. “Reading books was now an old-fashioned habit, just like listening to music or engaging in a hobby.
