Evolution for Everyone
A century and a half has passed since Darwin put forward his theory of natural selection. The evidence collected during this time is so strong that we now see evolution as a phenomenon beyond theory. However, says American evolutionist David Sloan Wilson, we cannot do justice to the theory of evolution unless it is blended with other disciplines and adapted to daily life. Because evolution is not something that has just happened, it is always right before our eyes and has permeated our entire lives. Since the history of living things consists of a long evolutionary process, we must look at events from an evolution-based perspective in order to understand life and ourselves.
