Is motherhood the end of being a woman? If we are talking about today's "ideal mother", yes... The expectations are so high that a woman has to give up her social and sexual life along with her economic freedom in order to "deserve" motherhood... The "mother-woman" who is not willing to compromise on her life has limits. It must be solid. Because, as Elisabeth Badinter puts it, "remorse" is a tool of pressure that is really effective on those who do not want to comply with the template of ideal motherhood... Today, women are being pushed away from the point they have come to by struggling, by the medical community and those who glorify the institution of family. What drives women into this modern slavery system? According to Badinter, women's place in professional life is still not solidified. On the other hand, the endless obligations of motherhood constantly show the woman the way home.
