Feminist Güzergah
In a foreword she wrote for this book, Françoise Collin returns to what she undertook to do during her interviews with Irène Kauer and writes: "But is thinking the answer to questions? Or is it always a matter of reformulating the questions themselves, changing their terms and translating them into something else?" While answering the question, how can what you think you have formulated during a long journey, which has been written not only in books and texts but also in various initiatives and actions, be reformulated with a new breath, from other angles, in sharp terms? How can what the effort to act reveal be summarized in a formula or in a few lines? How can the demand to talk about 'everything' be met when you have spent your whole life refusing to say everything [at once] in order to say something?
An undoubtedly interesting way, then, is to return together to the reality of some of the founding themes that have brought women together in a movement since the beginning, and whose polysemy has been ultimately revealed: thus, 'my body belongs to me', 'equal pay if equal' ', 'the private is political', 'I can have children if I want' become the subject of a hermeneutic study. We perceive how the common is always 'like one.'"
