This dictionary is in Kurdish and Arabic. But Jan Dost also translated the Arabic into Kurdish, making it Kurdish-Kurdish and prepared with the Arabic alphabet. Yusif Diyadin Pasha, who prepared the book, made such a work in response to the need for a Kurdish-Arabic dictionary while he was the district governor of Bitlis Mutki district for a while, and he first printed this dictionary in Istanbul in 1893. This dictionary contains the names of many Kurdish villages, as well as the names of many professions, foods, flowers and trees.
