With this translation, Pîrîzâde not only made a significant contribution to the Ottoman intellectual life, but also contributed to the universal recognition of the Muqaddimah. So much so that Hammer Prugstall, who was the first to introduce this work in Europe, learned the content of the book from the manuscript of Pîrîzâde's Turkish translation. One of the works of Pîrîzâde, who made such a significant contribution to the Ottoman intellectual life, is the treatise called Kitabü's-Siyâse fî Etvâri'l-Hamse. In this work, which is modest in volume but rich in content, based on Kâtib Çelebi's work called Düsturül-amel li-ıslahil-halel and benefiting from the views of İbn Haldûn and Makrizi, it deals with moral, social and political issues under five headings called "Etvar-ı Hamse". He included his views and opinions on the subject. The methodological approach used by the author while writing the work is reminiscent of the working style of modern researchers.
