Although the subject of the Flood has been discussed many times and from several angles, Çığ approaches the subject from a perspective that has never been discussed before. Starting from the thesis that the Turks came to Anatolia thousands of years ago, the author investigates the connections between the Flood legend of the Turks and the Flood epic of the Sumerians.
