Book Description of Irja and Murjii Narrators as a Jarh Term in the Science of Hadith
Irja and Murji'ah have been the target of harsh criticism from hadith scholars. This view, which argues that deeds are not directly related to faith, was adopted by the hadith scholars who accepted it as an integral part of faith. It was found to be contrary to the theoretical and practical values put forward during the time of the Prophet and the half-century period that followed. For this reason, Murji'a, along with other theological sects, are considered within the concept of "people of heresy". Therefore, it can be said that the hadith scholars' criticisms of irja and Murji'a focused around the view that "neglect of deeds does not take a person out of the circle of faith", which was put forward during the systematization process of the sect. In this context, it can be thought that the separation mentioned within the framework of "The faith states of Hazrat Osman and Hazrat Ali" was perceived by the hadith writer as a political choice, not a religious one. The view that "No sin causes harm with faith" has not been the subject of much criticism of the hadith scholar of Murji. Because this view has not become very widespread, it has even been criticized by people whose names are associated with this sect.
